TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last Updated: September 23, 2026

Income of Her Own is operated by Amanda Paton Consulting Ltd., an Alberta corporation (“Income of Her Own,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our websites, digital products, courses, programs, memberships, workshops, resources, and other products or services.

By purchasing a product or service from us, creating an account, enrolling in a program, or otherwise using our paid products or services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

Our products and services are intended for adults. By making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. Products and Services

Income of Her Own provides educational products and services related to sales, business, entrepreneurship, personal development, and related topics.

Our offerings may include digital downloads, guides, templates, workbooks, courses, training programs, workshops, memberships, subscriptions, and other educational resources.

Specific details, inclusions, pricing, access periods, and terms applicable to an individual product or service will be provided on the applicable sales or checkout page.

3. Orders and Acceptance

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the description of the product or service, its price, and any applicable refund or cancellation terms.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe there has been an error, unauthorized transaction, fraudulent activity, misuse of our website or services, or violation of these Terms.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received and you have not received the applicable product or service, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.

4. Pricing and Currency

Unless otherwise stated, prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD).

Applicable taxes, if any, will be calculated and displayed at checkout or otherwise charged as required by law.

Prices may change at any time. Any price change will not affect a purchase already completed, except where specifically disclosed in connection with an ongoing subscription or membership.

5. Payment

Payment is due according to the payment terms displayed at checkout.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors, including Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the amount displayed at checkout.

We do not directly store or process your complete credit or debit card information.

You are responsible for providing accurate and current billing and payment information.

6. Digital Delivery and Access

Digital products are delivered electronically. Depending on the product, access may be provided through a download link, email, online course or membership portal, or another electronic delivery method.

You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for maintaining access to the email account used when making your purchase.

Access periods may vary by product or program and will be described on the applicable sales page where relevant.

If you experience difficulty accessing a purchase, please contact us at hello@incomeofherown.com.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Due to the nature of digital products and the immediate access generally provided after purchase, all sales of digital products are final unless a different refund policy or guarantee is specifically stated on the applicable sales page at the time of purchase.

We encourage you to review all product details carefully before purchasing.

Courses, programs, workshops, memberships, subscriptions, or other services may have their own refund or cancellation terms. Where separate terms are stated on the applicable sales or checkout page, those terms will apply to that purchase.

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude any refund, cancellation, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

8. Subscriptions and Recurring Payments

Certain products or services may be offered on a recurring subscription or membership basis.

Where recurring billing applies, the billing frequency, price, and applicable cancellation terms will be disclosed before you purchase.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to automatically charge your selected payment method at the stated billing interval until you cancel.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not provide a refund for amounts already paid.

You may cancel a subscription according to the cancellation instructions provided with the applicable product or by contacting hello@incomeofherown.com.

Any rights available to you under applicable consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

9. Educational Purposes Only

All Income of Her Own content, products, courses, programs, resources, and services are provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing provided by Income of Her Own or Amanda Paton Consulting Ltd. constitutes legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, medical, psychological, or other regulated professional advice.

You are responsible for evaluating information and making your own business, financial, and personal decisions. Where appropriate, you should consult a qualified professional regarding your individual circumstances.

10. No Earnings or Results Guarantee

We do not guarantee that you will earn any particular amount of money, increase your sales, build a profitable business, acquire customers, or achieve any specific result from purchasing or using our products or services.

Any examples, testimonials, case studies, income figures, sales figures, projections, or other results discussed in our materials are provided for illustrative or educational purposes and should not be interpreted as promises or guarantees of your results.

Business and sales results vary and depend on many factors, including your experience, offer, market, pricing, effort, skills, implementation, consistency, economic conditions, and other circumstances outside our control.

You are solely responsible for your business decisions, actions, expenses, and results.

11. Sales and Business Education

Our sales training is intended to help business owners, entrepreneurs, creators, consultants, coaches, and other professionals develop their sales skills and conduct effective sales conversations.

We encourage ethical, transparent, buyer-focused sales practices.

You remain responsible for ensuring that your own sales, advertising, marketing, claims, contracts, and business practices comply with the laws and regulations applicable to you and your business.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all materials provided through Income of Her Own — including but not limited to courses, videos, guides, frameworks, scripts, templates, worksheets, workbooks, checklists, graphics, presentations, recordings, written content, and downloadable materials — are owned by or licensed to Amanda Paton Consulting Ltd. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your purchase provides you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own personal or business education.

Unless we expressly provide written permission, you may not:

  • reproduce, copy, republish, distribute, or resell our materials;

  • share purchased materials with others;

  • share course, membership, or account login credentials;

  • upload our materials to another website, membership, course, platform, or file-sharing service;

  • modify our materials and sell or distribute them as your own;

  • use our materials to create substantially similar products, training programs, templates, courses, or resources for resale; or

  • otherwise commercially exploit our intellectual property.

You may apply the concepts, strategies, and skills you learn through our educational products in your own business.

13. User Conduct

You agree not to use our website, products, programs, communities, or services in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, disruptive, or harmful to us or other participants.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to a product, course, program, membership, or community where a customer materially violates these Terms, infringes our intellectual property rights, shares access credentials, engages in harassment or abusive conduct, or otherwise misuses our services.

14. Third-Party Products and Affiliate Links

From time to time, we may recommend products, software, services, or resources provided by third parties.

Some recommendations may contain affiliate links, which means Amanda Paton Consulting Ltd. may receive a commission if you make a purchase through the link, at no additional cost to you.

We only control our own products and services and are not responsible for the products, services, policies, availability, security, performance, or representations of third-party providers. Your purchase or use of a third-party product or service is subject to that provider's own terms and policies.

15. Privacy and Personal Information

We collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Additional information about how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information may be provided in our Privacy Policy.

Information you provide in connection with a purchase may be used to process your transaction, deliver your purchase, provide customer support, maintain appropriate business records, and communicate with you regarding the product or service you purchased.

16. Email Communications

When you purchase a product or request information from us, we may send you transactional or service-related communications necessary to deliver your purchase or respond to your request.

Marketing and promotional communications will be sent in accordance with applicable laws, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Where required, we will obtain appropriate consent before sending marketing communications.

Marketing emails will include a method for unsubscribing. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time; however, you may still receive necessary transactional or service-related communications relating to purchases, accounts, memberships, or services you have requested.

17. Website and Service Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep our websites, digital products, course platforms, and services available and functioning properly.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party platforms, internet outages, security issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Amanda Paton Consulting Ltd. and Income of Her Own will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your purchase, use, inability to use, or reliance upon our products, services, websites, or educational materials.

You are responsible for how you implement the information and strategies provided through our products and services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amanda Paton Consulting Ltd. from claims, liabilities, damages, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of our products or services, your infringement of another person's rights, or your material violation of these Terms.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices, or legal requirements.

The most current version will be posted on our website with the date it was last updated.

Changes will apply prospectively and will not retroactively alter material terms of a completed purchase unless required or permitted by law.

21. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you based on your location.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any specific terms displayed on the applicable sales or checkout page and any policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Amanda Paton Consulting Ltd. regarding the applicable purchase.

If a specific sales or checkout page expressly provides terms that differ from these general Terms, the specific terms applicable to that offer will govern to the extent of the inconsistency.
